Bola.net - Manchester United akhirnya meresmikan perekrutan pemain pertamanya pada musim panas ini dengan menggaet gelandang Donny van de Beek dari klub Belanda, Ajax Amsterdam.

Lewat laman resmi mereka, Manchester United menyatakan bahwa Van de Beek telah sepakat meneken kontrak berdurasi lima tahun disertai opsi perpanjangan selama satu tahun.

Meski tak disebutkan secara rinci, akan tetapi media-media Inggris menyebut bahwa Manchester United harus mengeluarkan dana mencapai 40 juta euro plus 5 juta euro dalam bentuk bonus kepada Ajax untuk memboyong Van de Beek.
