Rekor Buruk! Leeds United Kebobolan 20 Gol Hanya di Bulan Februari

Betapa tidak, ini bukan pertama kalinya Leeds kalah dengan skor besar. Pertahanan Leeds dikenal buruk, padahal lini serang mereka cukup menjanjikan.

Sebelum dikalahkan Tottenham, Leeds juga dihajar Liverpool dengan setengah lusin gol (0-6) di Premier League. Artinya, dalam dua pertandingan saja mereka sudah kebobolan 10 gol.

Catatan negatif Leeds ini tidak lepas dari pendekatan dan gaya main yang diterapkan Bielsa. Memang, Leeds pernah unggul dengan gaya bermain dominan dan ofensif.

Sayangnya, Bielsa seolah-olah mengabaikan pertahanan tim. Awalnya tidak masalah, kini kondisi itu semakin buruk dan merugikan tim.

Menurut catatan Opta, Leeds sudah kebobolan 20 gol di Premier League hanya di bulan Februari ini. Angka tersebut jadi yang terbanyak dalam satu bulan sejak Newcastle pada tahun 1986 lalu.

Nahasnya, Leeds kebobolan 20 gol tersebut hanya dalam lima pertandingan. Jadi rata-rata mereka kebobolan empat gol di setiap pertandingan untuk bulan ini.

Kebobolan besar beruntun

Tidak hanya itu, catatan kebobolan Leeds jauh lebih buruk karena mereka terus kebobolan minimal tiga gol dalam lima pertandingan beruntun.

Menurut Opta, Leeds adalah tim kedua yang menorehkan catatan buruk itu sejak Sunderland pada tahun 2005 silam.

Rentetan hasil buruk ini pun berdampak langsung kepada status Bielsa. Teranyar, kabarnya pihak klub sedang mempertimbangkan pemecatan pelatih asal Argentina tersebut.

Bielsa mengaku salah

Bielsa taking it all on himself. Says the style and the system is his and the fact that it's not working can't be levelled at the players.
