Andreas Weimann continued to make appearances for Aston Villa in the Premier League. He scored his first goal for the club on 3 March 2012, in a 1-0 victory over Fulham. Weimann's breakthrough season came in the 2012-2013 campaign, where he scored 12 goals in all competitions. He became a regular starter for Villa and formed a strong partnership with Christian Benteke upfront.

However, Weimann's form dipped in the following seasons, and he struggled to replicate his previous goal-scoring exploits. Despite this, he remained a valuable squad player for Villa and contributed with important goals, including a memorable strike against Liverpool in a 2-1 victory in 2014.

In 2015, Weimann left Aston Villa and joined Derby County. He spent three seasons with the Championship club, making over 100 appearances and scoring 21 goals. In January 2017, he went on loan to Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he made a positive impact with his performances.

In July 2018, Weimann signed for Bristol City, where he has been a key player for the club.
